Our Therapists
At Avivage, we are truly a team—collaborating, supporting one another, and fostering a healthy and positive work environment. In turn, our shared goal is to provide every person we serve with a healing, authentic, and meaningful experience.
Tai is the owner of Avivage Massage and has been practicing massage since 2005. She graduated from Florida School of Massage in Gainesville where she also completed an intensive Sports Therapy program focused on injury rehabilitation in 2006. Her practice is an integration of rehabilitative work along with relaxation.
Her life experience keeps her passionate about healing and wellness. As a breast cancer survivor she enjoys working with women who have gone through it or are in the middle of their process.
Tai volunteered at Peaceful Pathways for women of domestic violence in Gainesville, Florida, and enjoys working with women who come from backgrounds of violence as she has overcome a history of abuse herself.
As a Queer women of color, Tai has been intentional with creating an inclusive and diverse environment at Avivage and welcomes the BIPOC & LGBTQ community.
Although her availability is limited, you can schedule a session with Tai via our Book Now page.
Her passions include creating supportive healing environments, nature, travel, medicinal foods, cooking, music, bon fires, friends and family.
Freya is a graduate of the East/West program at CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu Therapy School and Clinic, Freya is trained in cupping, hot and cold stone massage, and Guasha.
She enjoys being a part of helping others bring their body and mind into balance and wellness through massage. She believes in providing each client with a thoughtful and focused session, using combined techniques from Swedish, therapeutic, and Shiatsu massage. Other interests include facepainting, balloon twisting, music, art, urban and nature adventuring, and continuing to create and learn new things!
During a session, Sydney utilizes techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, reflexology, guided relaxation, and more. She attentively and intuitively meets each client in their body’s current state of being, creating a safe space using the power of compassionate touch to encourage release and relaxation. Sydney practices Health At Every Size (HAES) care and believes all bodies coming from all walks of life deserve to be upheld and comforted.
In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending time with her partner and two cats, cooking and baking, writing poetry, gardening, and being in nature.
She graduated from The Massage School Saint Paul and has been studying massage and bodywork in multiple capacities for over seven years. At the core of her practice, Sydney is most passionate about caring for peoples’ bodies and guiding people into a more gentle mind & body space. She believes firmly in the way emotions (chronic stress, grief, anxiety, sadness) take root in the body, impacting wellbeing and the energy people carry through their days.
Since I was a child, I have always felt a calling towards healing others. During my travels after high school, I learned from the locals that there are holistic ways of healing the body. After returning to Minnesota, I searched for a massage school with similar beliefs. That’s where I found The Massage School. I graduated in 2021 with my Massage Therapist Certification.
I use my skills and knowledge to bring people relief with Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. I also incorporate different modalities during the sessions ranging from stretching, trigger point release, to compression. My ultimate goal during the session is to bring my clients to a space where they can release anything that doesn’t serve them. It brings me joy when the client’s mind and energy come back to balance after the session. I prefer to work on focus areas during the hour but would be more than happy to do a full body.
I'm Ryah. My formal massage training began at CenterPoint Massage and Shiatsu School, where I graduated from the East/West program in 2016. The comprehensive curriculum placed equal emphasis on Western anatomy and Traditional Chinese Medicine’s concepts of energetic anatomy. In my practice, I draw from a range of modalities including Shiatsu, Swedish, deep tissue, craniosacral, trigger point therapy, and Thai massage.
My bodywork is rooted in deep listening and presence. I was born and raised in the Koyukon Athabaskan village of Tanana, in the remote wilderness of interior Alaska. Immersed in the cycles of life and death from a young age, I’ve carried an awareness of Chi and the Tao throughout my life.
As a mother, student, caregiver, and guide through life’s many transitions, I’ve grown through love, loss, endurance, and transformation. My intention is always to offer acceptance, nurturing, and relief.
While easing physical pain is deeply rewarding, I’m equally drawn to the deeper, evolving journey of healing. Whether you’re seeking immediate relief or feel called to explore something more, I will meet you where you are.
I marvel at our bodies—our vessels, our beings. To me, the sacred is inextricable from the mundane and the broken. I hope we can observe this together as we address the imbalances presenting themselves in your life. I work from a place of compassion and wholehearted care. I am here for you.
Sarah graduated from the Aveda Institute in spring 2025, where she immediately felt aligned with her path as a massage therapist. From day one, she knew this was how she was meant to care for others.
Her training includes Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy, with additional studies in energy work, myofascial release, and sports massage. Sarah blends these modalities to create personalized sessions that address each client’s unique needs. Her signature style combines medium to firm-pressure relaxation with focused therapeutic work, all grounded in deep listening, compassion, and intentional presence.
Inspired by the sense of being truly seen during her first professional massage, Sarah strives to offer that same experience to every client—whether it's a single session or an ongoing journey. In her treatment room, there is no past or future—only the present moment, held with care and space for healing.
I graduated from The Massage School of St. Paul in the fall of 2025 and am trained in Swedish massage, myofascial techniques, deep tissue, and more. While I appreciate a well-rounded approach to bodywork, my true passion lies in trigger point therapy and focused therapeutic work.
My journey into massage began through my own search for relief from chronic tension headaches and sciatic pain after years of truck driving. Experiencing firsthand how targeted bodywork could restore comfort and mobility inspired me to offer that same relief to others.
I feel honored to create a safe, supportive space where clients can rest, reset, and heal. Whether you’re seeking detailed focus work for specific concerns or a deeply restorative session, my goal is to tailor each massage to meet your individual therapeutic needs.
